Notice is hereby given of the intention to institute or collate to the Benefice of Brixworth All Saints with Holcot St. Mary and All Saints in the Diocese of Peterborough: notice is given that Revd. D. R. Reith will be collated to the benefice on 25 October 2020; since ordination in 2017, Revd. D. R. Reith has held the office and appointment of Assistant Curate, Weldon with Deene (Peterborough Diocese).
The complete notice may be viewed in the porch of St. Mary and All Saints Church, Holcot.
The church-wardens were able on 2 August to announce the appointment of a new Rector to the benefice.
I'm delighted to have been called by God to serve the Benefice of Brixworth with Holcot as Rector. This will be my first incumbency, having served as Curate in Weldon, near Corby. I'm married to Leah, and we have a 5-month old daughter called Hannah. (We also have a Labrador, called Paxton!). I enjoy most sports (participating and spectating), walking the dog (I'm really looking forward to having Pitsford Water on our doorstep), and watching good TV.
I'm really looking forward to meeting you who are already part of the church and getting to know you, so that we can encourage one another to enjoy the relationship with our Great God. I'm also passionate about reaching out to those who don't yet have any contact with the church, and sharing the good news of the Lord Jesus with them.
